Your Body at Week 27

With your baby expanding, that means things are going to be getting pretty cramped in there. Your organs will need to do some readjusting to allow room for your baby to keep growing.

This means new symptoms can creep in as well as added intensity of old symptoms like heartburn! As your stomach compresses upwards, that can result in not wanting to eat large meals at one given time.

To allow yourself to digest the food at a much slower rate than normal, try eating small meals throughout the day and not all at once.

Your Baby At 27 Weeks

Over the next few weeks, leading up to giving birth, your baby will continue to grow in length and also increase in body weight. The vital organs in your baby’s little body will also keep maturing, ready for life outside the womb.
