Say hello to our new Postpartum Support Belt!
Here at BABYGO® we understand you don't always feel yourself post birth, which is why we created our new postpartum belt.
How to Put the Belt On:
Before you begin, make sure the outer straps of the belt are pulled away from the main section of the belt.
Ensure your belt is the right way up so that from the back, the BABYGO® logo reads to the right when you tilt your head to the left.
Place the middle point of the belt in the centre of your back, holding either side of your belt in each hand.
Wrap the belt around you using the Velcro to secure it in place.
You can place your hand through the felt section on the right side of the belt to give you a more secure grip.
Bring the outer straps around your abdomen one by one so that they make an X shape across your stomach.
Adjust to your desired comfort, making sure that you can still move freely.
Your Questions Answered:
When Can I Start Wearing my Belt?
Whether you gave birth vaginally or via c-section, our belt is tailored for all mothers, regardless of the type of birth experience you've had.
If you have given birth vaginally, you can start using our BABYGO® Postpartum Belt right after delivery, or whenever you feel ready. If you have had a c-section, we usually recommend a little extra time to heal, and suggest checking with your doctor/health advisor before wearing.
Our belt is crafted to offer support for weakened or unstable core and pelvic muscles post childbirth. It provides a safe and comfortable experience, whether you're engaged in daily tasks, routines, or even exercise.
For optimal results, wear the belt during the initial 6-12 weeks of your postpartum journey, or longer if desired.
How Long Can I Wear my Belt For?
You know your body better than anyone, and so you can wear your postpartum belt for as long as you feel comfortable. Do what feels best for you.
If that means wearing it all day every day then so be it, just don’t wear it so much that you become dependent of it. When you’re ready, we recommend gradually reducing the reliance of your belt by wearing it less and less.
When Should I Not Wear my Postpartum Belt?
If you notice any signs of infection in your C-section incision, or if you've encountered other complications during pregnancy, it's important to seek medical attention promptly.
Should you experience any discomfort while wearing the belt, discontinue use immediately and consult with your midwife or doctor.
Remember!
Our belt is not a medical device and is designed for postpartum support and comfort only. We strongly advise that you consult with a healthcare professional before use, especially if you have any existing medical conditions.
If you start feeling any discomfort while wearing the belt, stop wearing the belt and consult your doctor/health advisor.
And that's it, we hope you love our Postpartum Support Belt and it helps to give you back that confidence you deserve. Whether you're looking for comfort, support, or a gentle nudge towards recovery, your belt is here to help!
