Material

Made from Hypoallergenic, BPA & Phthalates free material.

It sits between your knees while you are lying on your side, opening the pelvis and helping your baby move into a good position. It is particularly useful if you have had an epidural and cannot stay upright, which is exactly when labour tends to slow. Midwives use them for this reason, and having your own means you are not relying on one being available.
A birthing ball is for sitting upright and moving your hips. A peanut ball is for use lying down, holding your legs apart in a specific position while you rest. They do different jobs at different stages, which is why plenty of people bring both to hospital rather than choosing between them.
One size covers most people for labour use. What matters more is inflation: it should be firm enough to hold your top leg up without collapsing, but not so hard that it feels rigid between your knees. Check with your midwife or birth centre about their policy on bringing your own equipment.
Let it reach room temperature first, then inflate in stages and leave it to relax before topping it up the next day. Do this well before your due date rather than on the day, so it is inflated, packed and ready in the car rather than becoming another job during early labour. Most people set theirs up around the time they pack their hospital bag.
Yes, plenty of people use them for positioning while recovering, for support while side lying to feed, and later as a support during physiotherapy exercises. Between your knees while sleeping on your side is also a genuinely comfortable use in the weeks after birth when your hips are still settling.

Safety certification
Customers say this peanut ball is comfortable for sitting and gently circling hips, with a height that feels right for their needs. The shape provides more stability than round balls, and it inflates evenly and feels reassuringly stable on the floor. Many reviews mention its durability, with the ball maintaining pressure well through regular use over weeks. The surface has enough grip to prevent sliding, and customers appreciate the included guide and clear instructions. Most find it easy to use and a worthwhile purchase. Some note the included pump is flimsy and recommend using an electric pump instead, and a few mention the size may be large for shorter users. Overall, customers report consistent satisfaction with the quality and functionality.

Make Room for Baby

Opening up your pelvis gives baby's head the space it needs to move down into the birth canal.

Resting your leg over the peanut ball helps you hold these open, comfortable positions without effort, even from your bed. That means you can relax, breathe and save your energy for when your little one is ready to make their arrival.

Labour Book Included

Use our dedicated BABYGO® Labour Book to guide you through each stage of labour, with specific peanut ball positions and exercises to help you stay comfortable and supported as things progress.

We designed the book to give you a calm, positive mindset going into your new journey. There's even a handy hospital bag checklist for you and baby, so you feel ready for the big arrival.

Feel Prepared for the Big Day

Preparing for labour can feel daunting, and mums have a lot on their minds. We designed our peanut ball to be a reassuring companion along the way.

Practise your positions at home in the weeks before birth, then bring the ball with you on the day. Familiar, comfortable and ready to support you, whatever path your labour takes.
