Once your baby can crawl, the cupboard under the sink becomes the most interesting place in the house. Our magnetic locks fit inside the door, so nothing shows from the outside, and it only opens when you hold the magnetic key against it.

Everything sticks on with 3M™ adhesive, with no drilling, which suits a rented home, and the locks are tested to EN 16948:2017. Give the adhesive 24 hours before you test anything.

When should I fit cupboard locks?
Before your baby starts crawling, which for most babies is somewhere between six and ten months, so everything is fitted and tested in time. The adhesive needs 24 hours to set before a lock can be relied on.
Should I use magnetic locks or safety straps?
Usually both, as they do different jobs. The magnetic locks sit hidden inside the run of kitchen cupboards and drawers, and the straps take the fridge, the oven, the bins and any door a magnetic catch can't line up with.
Will the locks fit my cupboards?
They need two flat, smooth surfaces: the inside of the door or drawer front, and the frame or shelf it closes against. That covers most kitchen cupboards and drawers, but check panelled or shaped doors, and stacks of drawers with no rail between them, before you fit.
How many locks will I need?
Most kitchens need between six and ten, counting the cupboard under the sink, the cleaning cupboard, the bin drawer and any low cupboard with glass or heavy pans. You don't have to lock everything, and leaving one low cupboard of plastic bowls and wooden spoons open takes the pressure off the rest.
What happens if I lose the magnetic key?
