How does the gift card work?
It is an e-gift card, so it arrives by email rather than in the post and can be sent immediately or on a date you choose. Denominations run from £25 to £150. The recipient enters the code at checkout and can spend it across anything on babygo.uk, in one order or across several.
Why is a gift card a good baby gift?
Because it solves the two problems with buying for a new baby: you cannot know what they already have, and you cannot know what size or colour they want. It is particularly sensible for underwear and clothing, where knickers cannot be returned for hygiene reasons and sizing is personal.
Does it expire?
Gift cards issued by Shopify stores do not expire in the UK, so there is no rush for the recipient to spend it. That matters for a baby gift, since a new parent may want to buy in a larger size in a few months rather than immediately.
Can it be used on sale items?
Yes, a gift card works like any other payment method, so it can be used on discounted products and alongside promotions. If the balance does not cover the full order, the remainder can be paid by card, and any unused balance stays on the card for next time.
What if I chose the wrong amount?
The recipient can top up the difference at checkout with their own card, so an amount that does not quite cover what they want is not a problem. If you have sent it to the wrong email address, contact us with your order details and we will help sort it out.
