Bamboo cover
The cool side.
All the way round.

70% bamboo, 30% cotton. It wicks heat away instead of holding it, so the hot flushes and night sweats have somewhere to go.
Under the cover, a breathable hollow-fibre filling that springs back every morning.
Shaped around you.

- Under your head and neck
- Under your bump
- Between your knees
- Behind your back when you turn
The curve takes the weight of your bump, keeps your top knee from dropping forward and twisting your pelvis, and gives you something to lean into. That is what stops you rolling onto your back at 3am.
Three ways to use it.

16 weeks to
night feeds.
-
Second trimester -
Third trimester -
After the birth
Most people start needing it around 16 weeks, when sleeping on your front stops being an option. It stays on the bed through the third trimester, then moves to feeding duty. One pillow, the whole way through.
The little things,
done properly.
Holds its shape.
Bouncy hollow fibre that does not go flat.

The cover comes off.
Machine wash at 30. Air the inner.

Fits the bed.
Full-length support without taking over your side.

Nothing to dig in.
Invisible zip, flat seams, no tags at the neck.

Comfortable in
three moves.
The NHS advises sleeping on your side from 28 weeks. This is how to make that last all night.
-
1. Tuck.Lie on your side and pull the middle of the curve in under your bump.
-
2. Hug.Bring the top end under your head and into your arms.
-
3. Slot.Put the bottom end between your knees, up to the ankles if you like.
Shorter than average? Fold the bottom end under rather than stretching along it.

“Good for pregnancy but I use it more after the birth to prop me up for breastfeeding in the night. It's held its shape well.”

Questions, answered.
Will it take over the bed?
Less than a U-shaped pillow would. It's a single curve, so it lies along your side of the bed rather than wrapping all the way round you. If you're on the shorter side, fold the lower end under rather than stretching out along it and you'll get the same support in less space.
Does it help with hip and back pain?
It's made for that. With the lower end between your knees, it stops your top leg dropping forward and twisting your pelvis, which is often what makes your hips ache, and the middle takes the weight of your bump; for back ache, turn the curve round and lean into it. It won't make pelvic girdle pain go away, but it takes the strain off; if the pain is bad, mention it to your midwife.
Which side should I sleep on?
Either. The NHS advises going to sleep on your side, left or right, from 28 weeks. If you wake up on your back, don't worry, just turn onto your side again; with the pillow along your front and between your knees, you're less likely to roll back in the first place.
Is it soft or firm?
Somewhere in between: firm enough to hold your bump and knees, with a bouncy, breathable filling that moulds to you. It's designed to stay firm with everyday use.
Can I use it after the birth?
Yes. Curve it round you to lift your arms to the right height for feeds, so you're not hunched over, or put it behind your back when you're sitting up in bed in the early weeks.
