How many corner protectors do I need?
Count the corners at your child's head height rather than the furniture. A coffee table alone has four, and a TV unit and a hearth add more, so the 24 pack is the one to choose if you're doing more than one room.
Will they mark my furniture?
The 3M™ adhesive is made to come away without lasting damage on modern sealed finishes. On old or waxed wood, test one somewhere nobody will see and leave it a few days first, and to take one off, warm it with a hairdryer and peel it away slowly.
Can the safety straps hold a TV or bookcase?
No. They keep doors, drawers and lids shut, and anything that could tip needs an anti-tip kit fixed to the wall.
Will the gate fit my living room doorway?
It fits openings from 76 to 83cm wide, so measure at the height the gate will sit. It needs two flat, solid surfaces facing each other to press against, and skirting boards and plasterboard both affect the grip.
