The bodysuit is the layer that catches everything, from a leaky nappy to a milky dribble, so you get through them faster than anything else in the drawer. This pack gives you two of our long sleeve bodysuits in shades that go together, so one can be in the wash while your baby wears the other.
The envelope neckline folds down over the shoulders, so after a messy change you can take the bodysuit off downwards instead of pulling it over your baby's head. The poppers sit under the nappy, so a change doesn't mean undressing them.
The fabric is 67% bamboo, 28% cotton and 5% elastane: soft, with enough stretch for wriggly arms, and the cotton helps it keep its shape through a lot of washing.

Should it go under or over a sleepsuit?
Under. The bodysuit sits next to the skin and the sleepsuit goes over the top, so if your baby gets too warm you can take the sleepsuit off without a full change.
What size should I order?
The size guide gives the body length, chest and sleeve length for every size, from a 35cm body length at Newborn to 45.5cm at 18-24m, so you can check it against a bodysuit that fits now. If your baby is between sizes, take the smaller one, as a first layer works best sitting close.
How many will I need?
Around six in each size is a good number, because the bodysuit is the layer that meets every leak first. That covers a wash cycle without buying more than your baby will wear before they outgrow them, and splitting them between the size they're in now and the next one up usually works better than stocking up on one.
Can they be worn all year round?
Yes. Long sleeves suit most of the year as a first layer, and on cooler summer days it can be worn on its own. The NHS advises keeping your baby's room at 16 to 20°C, so add or take away layers from there.
Do the sleeves have fold-over mitts?
No, the sleeves finish at the wrist, so they sit neatly under a sleepsuit without bunching. If you want fold-over mitts for a newborn who scratches, our zip sleepsuits have them, for babies up to 12 months.
