If you're pumping most days, single-use bags go in the bin almost as fast as the milk goes in the freezer. These five silicone bags wash and go again, so you're not forever buying more.
Each one stands up on its own while you pour, with a wide opening so milk goes in straight from the pump, and markings on the side up to 240ml (8oz). There's a panel for the date and amount, and a pen comes in the box.
The top closes with a double seal, and there's a separate capped spout for pouring into a bottle. Freeze them lying flat and they stack neatly.
When you've finished expressing, they're just as handy for purées and batches of soup.

Questions, answered.
How long can breast milk be stored in them?
The NHS says expressed milk keeps for up to 8 days at the back of the fridge at 4°C or lower (within 3 days if you're not sure of the temperature), 2 weeks in the ice compartment of a fridge, and up to 6 months in a freezer at -18°C or lower. Write the date on the bag before it goes in the freezer.
How do I defrost milk in them?
Slowly in the fridge is best, or stand the bag in a jug of warm water or hold it under warm running water. Don't use a microwave or the hob, as they heat unevenly and can leave hot spots that burn your baby's mouth.
How do I clean them?
Put them in the dishwasher, or wash them in hot soapy water, getting right inside through the wide opening. Stand them open to dry completely before you use them again, and sterilise them as you would the rest of your feeding kit.
Will they leak?
The double seal at the top and the cap on the spout are there to stop that, and people who've switched from disposables tell us theirs haven't. When you freeze milk, leave a little room at the top, as it expands and a full bag puts pressure on the seal.
How many will I need?
Five covers occasional pumping and a small stash in the freezer. If you're pumping every day, you'll want more in rotation, so some can be frozen while others are washed and drying.
