Pairs well with
Graduated compression for swollen ankles and tired legs
Some swelling in your legs, ankles and feet is normal in pregnancy, and it's often worse by the evening and later on. These pregnancy compression socks are firmest at the ankle, at 30 mmHg, easing to 20 mmHg at the calf, to support your circulation and help ease the swelling and the heavy, tired feeling in your legs.
The fabric is a soft bamboo blend, and the soles have a non-slip grip, so you can wear them around the house, on your birthing ball, in hospital or on a long flight.
Choose Wide Calf if standard compression socks tend to dig in below your knee.

Questions, answered.
What size should I order?
Go by shoe size, 2 to 5 or 6 to 9, then pick the fit for your calf. Standard fits calves of 25 to 35cm in the 2 to 5 and 36 to 50cm in the 6 to 9; Wide Calf fits 48 to 55cm and 50 to 58cm. For hygiene reasons socks can't be returned, so measure your calf before you order.
When should I put them on?
First thing in the morning, before you've been up and about, because that's when swelling is lowest; putting them on later means squeezing legs that have already swollen. Take them off at night unless you've been told otherwise.
How tight should they feel?
Snug, and firmest at the ankle. They should never pinch under the knee, cut in or make your toes go numb; if they do, try Wide Calf or the other size. They take a bit of effort to get on: turn the sock inside out down to the heel, put your foot in and roll it up your leg.
Can I wear them after the birth?
Yes. Swelling can carry on for a week or two after the birth, and the non-slip soles make them good hospital socks.
Can I wear them instead of hospital compression stockings?
No. If the hospital or your GP gives you compression stockings, for example after a C-section, wear those and follow their advice on how long. These socks are for everyday comfort in pregnancy and afterwards.
