BABYGO® Pregnancy Support Belt
Pairs well with
A pregnancy support belt you build up as your bump grows
As your bump gets heavier, it pulls on your lower back and pelvis, and by the afternoon even a short walk can feel like hard work. This belt takes some of that weight from underneath, so you've a bit more support for the school run, a shift or the housework.
It comes in three parts that you add as you grow. Start with the soft belly band under your bump, add the wide back section when your lower back needs it, and fasten the top strap over your bump later on for the most support. Our fitting guide suggests the band from about 12 weeks, the back from 20 and the top strap from 30, but go by how you feel.
The fabric is a light four-way stretch with mesh panels to let the air through, and it fastens with velcro, so you can loosen it when you sit down. Wear it under or over your clothes.
It comes with our Maternity Exercise Book, with exercises for each trimester and for after the birth, and the velcro is guaranteed for a year.

Questions, answered.
What size should I order?
Measure round your body just under your bump and match it to the size guide: at full stretch, S fits 70 to 100cm, M 80 to 110cm, L 90 to 120cm, XL 100 to 130cm and XXL 110 to 140cm. The guide gives dress sizes too, from S for a 6 to 8 up to XXL for a 22 and over. You can exchange it within 30 days of your order if it's unused, with the tags on.
How do I put it on?
Fasten the belly band first, low under your bump. Then line the back section up with the middle of your spine and fix its side flaps to the band, and when you need the top strap, attach one end, stretch it over the highest part of your bump and fasten the other.
Will it help with back or pelvic pain?
It won't make back pain or pelvic girdle pain go away, and it isn't a medical device. What it does is take some of your bump's weight from underneath and support your lower back, which is why people with an aching back or pelvis tend to wear it for walks and at work. If the pain is bad or stopping you getting about, tell your midwife.
Will the velcro wear out?
Velcro takes the strain on any support belt, which is why ours is guaranteed for a year: if it fails in that time, get in touch and we'll replace the belt. To make it last, close it up before washing, as fluff caught in the hooks is what wears the grip down.
What's the difference between the belt and the support band?
The belt has three parts and gives the most support, with the back section and the strap over your bump for later in pregnancy. Our Pregnancy Support Band is one wide piece that wraps under your bump and goes on in seconds, for lighter everyday support.
