Replacement Silicone Diaphragm

A replacement silicone diaphragm for the BABYGO® Electric Breast Pump, made from BPA-free, food-grade material.

Part of the pump's closed system that helps prevent back-flow, a fresh diaphragm keeps suction consistent and milk collection hygienic.

It separates the motor from the milk path and is what transfers the suction while keeping milk out of the pump body. If it is damaged or seated incorrectly, you lose suction and you risk milk reaching parts of the pump that are not designed to be cleaned. It is a small part doing an important job.
Every couple of months with regular pumping, or sooner if you see any tear, warping or stiffness. Along with the valve, it is one of the two parts responsible for most cases of a pump that seems to have lost power. Keeping a spare of each is sensible if you pump daily.
Reduced suction, longer sessions for the same output, or any visible damage or distortion. If milk ever appears where it should not, in the tubing or the motor housing, stop using the pump and replace the diaphragm before continuing, since that indicates the seal has failed.
It is designed for the BABYGO® Air™ Electric Breast Pump, single and double. Pump parts are not interchangeable between brands, so check compatibility if you are using a different pump. Along with the valve, this is one of the two parts responsible for most cases of a pump losing suction.
Wash gently in hot soapy water, rinse and air dry completely before reassembling. Make sure it is properly seated when you put the pump back together, because a diaphragm that is slightly off is one of the most common reasons a correctly cleaned pump does not perform after reassembly.

    Useful with one small caveat. Saved replacing the whole pump

    One of those small purchases that makes a noticeable difference. It feels as sturdy as the original part and was simple to swap over. There is a short learning curve with the settings, but it becomes simple after a few uses.

    Holding up beautifully: held up through sterilising

    It was put to use almost as soon as it arrived. Having a spare has made cleaning between sessions much less rushed. I now keep one clean and ready in the cupboard.
