BABYGO® Birthing Ball Bundle
Pairs well with
Our birthing ball, with a ring that stops it rolling away
Late in pregnancy, sitting down on a ball and getting back up are the moments you feel least steady, and on a wooden or tiled floor the ball can roll away when you get up. This bundle pairs our birthing ball with a non-slip stability ring that holds it where you left it.
The ball is the one we sell on its own. The wall is 2mm thick, it's tested to hold up to 1000kg, and it's anti-burst, so if it's ever punctured it goes down slowly instead of bursting under you.
Our 100-page BABYGO® Pregnancy Book is in the box too, with more than 40 exercises for the ball through each trimester, then labour and the weeks after.
It comes with a hand pump as standard, or with our electric pump if you choose that option. After the birth, the ring keeps the ball steady while you bounce your baby to sleep.

Questions, answered.
Do I need the stability ring?
It isn't essential, but it makes the ball feel much steadier. It holds the ball still while you sit down and stand up, which is when it feels least secure in late pregnancy, and it stops the ball drifting across a hard floor. It also means you can leave the ball out as a seat without it rolling off.
What size birthing ball do I need?
Go by your height. The 65cm suits you up to about 5ft 8 (173cm) and the 75cm from 5ft 10 (178cm); in between, either works, with the 65cm sitting lower and the 75cm better for long legs or a desk. Once it's inflated, your hips should sit a little higher than your knees with your feet flat on the floor. The stability ring fits either size.
How do I inflate it to the right size?
Let the ball warm up to room temperature first, as the material is far more flexible when it's warm, then inflate it in stages. Leave it overnight and top it up the next day, because the material keeps relaxing, and use the tape measure in the box to check it has reached full size. If you'd rather not do the pumping yourself, choose the electric pump when you order.
Is it safe to use in pregnancy?
It's built for it. The ball is tested to hold up to 1000kg, the anti-burst wall lets the air out slowly if it's ever punctured, and the material is tested to EN 71-3 and free from BPA and phthalates. If you've been told to take things easy, check with your midwife before you start the exercises.
What's in the pregnancy book?
It's called Simple Ways to Make a Positive Difference, and it's exclusive to BABYGO®. Each trimester has nutrition guidance and exercises for the ball, more than 40 in all, then it covers labour, an after-birth recovery plan, and mum and baby yoga and tummy time for once you feel ready.
