Order by your pre-pregnancy dress size rather than your current bump measurement, since the belt sits under the bump rather than around its widest point. Sizes run S to XXL with 4-way stretch, so it grows with you and does not need replacing each trimester. The size guide takes a minute and it is the single thing that determines how well a support belt works for you.
The belt goes under the bump, not across it. Position the wide supportive panel low so it cradles and lifts the bump from underneath, taking weight off your lower back and pelvis. It should feel like the bump is being lifted, not squeezed. If it rides up or feels like it is compressing the bump, drop it lower. Spend a minute adjusting it the first time and it will sit correctly from then on.
It is covered by a one year guarantee, and if the velcro fails within that time we will send you a new belt free of charge. Velcro is the part that takes the strain on any support belt, which is why we guarantee it specifically rather than in general terms. To get the longest life from it, close the velcro against itself before washing so it does not collect lint and fibres, which is what degrades the grip over time rather than the fastening itself failing.
Many people find it does. The belt is designed for pelvic girdle pain, symphysis pubis dysfunction, lower back and hip pain, round ligament pain, sacroiliac joint pain and sciatica, and it works by taking some of the bump's weight off the pelvis and lower back. It is not a cure and it is not right for everyone. If you have significant PGP, a belt works best alongside physiotherapy rather than instead of it.
Wear it for the parts of the day when you are on your feet rather than continuously. Most people use it for the school run, work, walking and standing, then take it off when sitting or resting, since wearing any support garment constantly can let the muscles it supports do less work. We would not recommend sleeping in it. If it ever feels numbing, pinching or restricts your breathing, loosen it.

    Day goes

    I mainly wear it for walks and housework. It is easy to adjust as the day goes on and stays hidden under loose clothing. It feels like good value for money.
