BABYGO® Breast Pump Diaphragm
A spare diaphragm to keep your Air™ pump's suction strong
The diaphragm is the small silicone part that passes the pump's suction through to the flange while keeping milk out of the motor. It's part of the closed system that stops milk flowing back into the pump.
With daily pumping it gradually softens or stretches, and a worn or badly seated diaphragm is one of the usual reasons a pump seems to lose power. With a spare in the cupboard, you can swap it straight away instead of waiting for the post.
It's made for our Air™ pump, single or double. Pump parts aren't interchangeable between brands.

Questions, answered.
How do I know it needs replacing?
Look for a tear, warping or stiffness, and watch for weaker suction or sessions taking longer for the same amount of milk. If you ever see milk inside the pump body, stop using the pump and replace the diaphragm before you carry on.
How often should I replace it?
There's no set date. If you pump every day, check it each time you clean it and replace it as soon as it looks worn. Keeping a spare, along with a spare valve, means a worn part never stops a session.
Will it fit my pump?
It's made for the BABYGO® Air™ Electric Breast Pump, the single and the double, which takes one on each side. If you use another brand's pump, check with the maker, because parts aren't standard between brands.
Why has my pump lost suction?
The usual causes are a worn valve or diaphragm, a part that isn't seated properly after cleaning, or a flange that doesn't fit. Check those before you assume it's your supply.
What other spare parts are there?
