Door stoppers that keep a closing door off small fingers
Toddlers put their hands in the gap by the door frame at exactly the moment a draught or a sibling swings it shut. Fix one of these to the edge of the door and it can't close all the way, so there's a gap left for small fingers.
When you want the door to shut, move the stopper out of the way and it closes as normal; move it back when the children are about.
They stick on with 3M™ VHB adhesive, so there are no screws, no drilling and no tools, which suits a rented home. There are two in the pack.

What do they stop?
A door closing all the way onto a hand, whether it's pushed by a sibling or caught by a draught. They stop doors slamming too, which helps when there's a baby asleep.
Can I still close the door properly?
Yes. With the stopper moved aside, the door shuts as it always did, and you can put it back in place whenever you need it again.
Do they need drilling?
No. Clean the spot, let it dry fully, then press the stopper firmly on and give the adhesive time to set before the door takes any knocks. There are no screws, so there are no holes to fill if you move.
Will they fit my doors?
They suit standard internal doors. The adhesive needs a flat, smooth patch of door to bond to, so very heavy fire doors, and doors with deep mouldings where you'd fit it, are the ones to check first.
Will they mark the door?
They're made to come off without lasting damage. On a painted door, check the paint is sound and not flaking before you fit one.
