Pairs well with

Two pairs of pregnancy compression socks, so one's always clean

On long days on your feet, at a desk or on a flight, your ankles can be puffy by the evening, and compression socks become something you wear every day. That means washing them often, so with two pairs, there's always a clean one for the morning while the other dries.

The compression is graduated, firmest at the ankle at 30 mmHg and easing to 20 mmHg at the calf. They're a soft bamboo blend, with grips on the soles so you can pad about on hard floors or sit on a birthing ball in them.

Choose Standard or Wide Calf, in shoe sizes 2 to 5 or 6 to 9. Wide Calf gives more room round the calf with the same compression, so pick it if socks usually dig in below your knee.

At a glance

  • Graduated 30 to 20 mmHg, ankle to calf
  • Grippy soles for hard floors
  • OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabric

Questions, answered.

What size should I order?

Go by shoe size, 2 to 5 or 6 to 9, then check your calf. Standard fits calves of 25 to 35cm in the smaller size and 36 to 50cm in the larger, and Wide Calf fits 48 to 55cm and 50 to 58cm. Socks can't be returned for hygiene reasons, so measure before you order, and if you're between shoe sizes, take the bigger one.

How tight should they feel?

Snug, and firmest at the ankle, easing off as they go up your leg. They shouldn't pinch under the knee, cut in or leave your toes numb; if they do, the fit is wrong, and Wide Calf is usually the answer rather than a bigger foot size. To get them on, turn the leg inside out down to the heel, put your foot in and roll the rest up.

When should I put them on?

First thing in the morning, before you've been on your feet for long, and take them off at night. They're worth wearing on any day you'll be standing or sitting for hours, and on flights and long car journeys.

Can I wear them after the birth?

Yes. Swelling can carry on for a week or two after the birth, and the grippy soles make them good socks for your hospital bag. If the hospital gives you compression stockings, for example after a C-section, wear those instead and follow their advice.

Will they stop my ankles swelling?

We can't promise that, as they're not a medical treatment. What they do is squeeze firmest at the ankle and ease off up the leg, and puffy ankles and long flights are the reasons plenty of reviewers bought them.

Reviews

4.9 out of 5, 112 reviews

Customers say these socks are easy to put on and comfortable to wear all day, with a soft, breathable fabric that doesn't pinch or leave marks. Many reviews highlight how the compression helps reduce leg heaviness and swelling, particularly during pregnancy, long flights, or extended standing. Users appreciate the non-slip soles and even compression from ankle to calf. The socks stay in place throughout the day and wash well without losing support. Some note they're initially tight to put on, and a few mention sizing runs small, so wider calf options are available. Overall, customers find them effective and durable for everyday wear and travel.

Easy from the first use. Helped with puffy ankles

The stretch makes them easier to put on than other compression socks I have tried. It has made everyday life that bit easier.

They made my legs feel noticeably less heavy by the end of the day. I am really pleased I chose this one.
