BABYGO® Stability Ring
Pairs well with
Keeps your birthing ball from rolling away
On a wooden or tiled floor, a birthing ball has a habit of drifting off the moment you stand up, and lowering yourself back onto it gets harder to judge as your bump grows. The stability ring sits under the ball and holds it still, so it's where you left it when you go to sit down.
It gives you a steadier base for bouncing and hip circles, and you can leave the ball out as a seat by your desk or the sofa without it wandering across the room.
After the birth it's just as useful, when you're bouncing a baby to sleep and the last thing you want to think about is your balance.

Questions, answered.
Will it fit my ball?
It fits our 65cm and 75cm birthing balls. It sits underneath the ball rather than attaching to it, so it should suit other exercise balls of a similar size, but we can only promise it with ours.
Is a ball included?
No, this is the ring on its own. Our birthing balls are sold separately, in 65cm and 75cm.
Do I need one if I have carpet?
Carpet already grips a ball better than a hard floor, so it matters less, but the ring still helps when you sit down and stand up. On laminate, tiles or wood it makes a much bigger difference.
Does it stop the ball moving completely?
No, and it isn't meant to. It keeps the ball in one place so it can't roll away or slide out from under you, while the ball still has its bounce, so keep your feet flat on the floor as you would without it.
Is it safe to use in pregnancy?
The material is tested to EN 71-3 and complies with California Proposition 65 for lead, cadmium and phthalates, like our birthing balls. The ring makes the ball steadier, but take your time getting on and off, and if you've been told to take things easy, check with your midwife before you start exercising.
