Early in pregnancy it's your hips that change, and later the bump takes over the front. These sit low, with a soft crossover waistband that stretches with your hips and then rests under the bump without pressing on it.
They're 71% Tencel™ Modal, soft and light, with no tags and no bulky seams, and they sit smoothly under leggings and dresses.
The gusset has three layers for the discharge and little leaks pregnancy brings, from a sneeze to a long day on your feet.

What size should I order?
Use the size guide with your usual dress size from before pregnancy: S is 6 to 10, M 10 to 14, L 14 to 18 and XL 18 to 22. They come up small, and a few people have found them tight going by the guide, so if you're between two sizes, take the bigger one. Knickers can't be returned once they're opened, for hygiene reasons, so it's worth a minute with the guide first.
Should I choose under-bump or over-bump?
Under-bump sits lower and is cooler, which many people prefer earlier in pregnancy and in warm weather. Over-bump covers the bump and keeps it warm, which tends to suit later pregnancy and winter, and plenty of people have both and switch as the bump grows.
When should I switch to maternity knickers?
When your usual knickers start to dig in at the waist or leave marks. There's no set week, and because these stretch with your hips, you shouldn't need a bigger size each trimester.
Can I wear them after a C-section?
Not straight away. They sit low, close to where a C-section scar usually is, so for the first weeks our high-waisted Postpartum Knickers are the better choice. Once you've healed, these are comfortable again.
What does the gusset cope with?
Discharge and light leaks in pregnancy, like the ones a sneeze or a cough can bring. It isn't made for the heavier bleeding after the birth; our Postpartum Knickers have a gusset designed for that.
