Material

Made from Hypoallergenic, BPA & Phthalates free material.

This is a round exercise ball, so it is used for sitting, rolling and general active play, while the peanut shape is designed to be straddled and bounced on with more stability. Younger or less confident children usually get on better with the peanut. The round ball suits older children and is closer to a standard exercise ball in use.
Older toddlers and school-age children, with supervision. It is also used as an active seat for children who concentrate better when they can move, which is a common use at a desk or table. As with any ball, keep it away from hard edges and stairs and use it on carpet or a mat.
Let it reach room temperature first, which makes the material far more flexible, then inflate in stages rather than all at once. Leave it overnight and top it up the next day as the material relaxes into shape. This staged approach is normal for any anti-burst ball and gives you a firmer, better-shaped ball than trying to do it in one go.
It is made for it, and customers consistently report it holding up to heavy use. Keep it away from anything sharp, check it periodically for scuffs, and keep it off hot surfaces and out of direct sunlight for long periods, since heat and UV are what degrade any inflatable over time.
It is sized for children, so for adult exercise or a desk chair our birthing ball in 65cm or 75cm is the right choice. The kids ball is deliberately smaller and is not intended to take adult weight regularly. If you want one ball for the whole family, the 65cm birthing ball is the more versatile choice.
