“I was sceptical about how good a pregnancy pillow would be until I tried this, so much more comfortable at night now. It gives good support for the bump and hips, the cover is easily removable for washing and it's a really good price compared to similar on the market.”

Robyn, verified buyer

“At 7 months pregnant, sleeping was nearly impossible until I got this pillow. Now I finally get a good night's sleep.”

Josephine M., verified buyer

“I bought other pregnancy pillows, fancy ones and different shapes, but this one worked the best. It's very soft and you can curl up around it whichever way you want.”

Bamboo cover

The cool side.
All the way round.

Close-up of the grey pillow cover and its soft folds.

70% bamboo, 30% cotton. It wicks heat away instead of holding it, so the hot flushes and night sweats have somewhere to go.

Under the cover, a breathable hollow-fibre filling that springs back every morning.

Bump, hips and knees.

A pregnant woman resting on her side with the grey pillow around her body.
  • Under your head and neck
  • Under your bump
  • Between your knees
  • Behind your back when you turn

The curve takes the weight of your bump, keeps your top knee from dropping forward and twisting your pelvis, and gives you something to lean into. That is what stops you rolling onto your back at 3am.

Three ways to use it.

A woman sleeping on her side, hugging the grey pillow.
Side sleeping. Tuck it under your bump, hug the top and slot the bottom between your knees.
A woman reading in bed with the patterned pillow around her back and hips.
Sitting up. Curve it behind your back and round your hips for reading, working or resting.
A mother feeding her baby with a pillow supporting her arms.
Feeding. After the birth it lifts your arms to the right height, so you are not hunching over.

    After the birth

Most people start needing it around 16 weeks, when sleeping on your front stops being an option. It stays on the bed through the third trimester, then moves to feeding duty. One pillow, the whole way through.

The little things,
done properly.

Holds its shape.

Hypoallergenic hollow fibre that does not go flat.

The cover comes off.

Machine wash at 30. Air the inner.

Fits the bed.

Full-length support that stays on your side of the bed.

Nothing to dig in.

Invisible zip, flat seams, no tags at the neck.

Fingers opening the invisible zip along the grey pillow cover.

Comfortable in
three moves.

The NHS advises sleeping on your side from 28 weeks. This is how to make that last all night.

  1. 1. Tuck.
Lie on your side and pull the middle of the curve in under your bump.
  2. 2. Hug.
Bring the top end under your head and into your arms.
  3. 3. Slot.
Put the bottom end between your knees, up to the ankles if you like.

Shorter than average? Fold the bottom end under rather than stretching along it.

Questions, answered.

Will it take over the bed?

Less than a U-shaped pillow would. It's a single curve, so it lies along your side of the bed rather than wrapping all the way round you. If you're on the shorter side, fold the lower end under rather than stretching out along it and you'll get the same support in less space.

Comparing shapes? Our guide to the best pregnancy pillow in the UK walks through U-shaped, C-shaped and full-length maternity pillows, and the range is on the pregnancy pillows page.

Does it help with hip and back pain?

It's made for that. With the lower end between your knees, it stops your top leg dropping forward and twisting your pelvis, which is often what makes your hips ache, and the middle takes the weight of your bump; for back ache, turn the curve round and lean into it. It won't make pelvic girdle pain go away, but it takes the strain off; if the pain is bad, mention it to your midwife.

Which side should I sleep on?

Either. The NHS advises going to sleep on your side, left or right, from 28 weeks. If you wake up on your back, don't worry, just turn onto your side again; with the pillow along your front and between your knees, you're less likely to roll back in the first place.

Is it soft or firm?

Somewhere in between: firm enough to hold your bump and knees, with a bouncy, breathable, hypoallergenic filling that moulds to you. It arrives vacuum packed, so it can look a little flat or lumpy on day one; give it a shake and a few hours to breathe and it fills out. It's designed to stay firm with everyday use.

Can I use it after the birth?

Yes. Curve it round you to lift your arms to the right height for feeds, so you're not hunched over, or put it behind your back when you're sitting up in bed in the early weeks.

Pregnancy pillow, maternity pillow or feeding pillow: it is the same pillow doing each job in turn. For the positions, step by step, read how to use a pregnancy pillow.

Reviews

4.9 out of 5, 163 reviews

Customers say this pillow is incredibly comfortable and supportive, with a good balance of softness and firmness that works well for side sleeping. Many reviews highlight how it effectively supports the bump, hips, and back without taking over the entire bed. The curved shape and soft cover are frequently praised, with users noting improved sleep quality and reduced aches and pains. Common feedback mentions its versatility—useful during pregnancy, for nursing afterward, and for general comfort. Some note it's smaller than U-shaped alternatives, which many appreciate. A few mention initial lumpiness from vacuum packing that resolves quickly. Most reviewers find it excellent value, though some feel the price is high. The removable, washable cover receives positive comments for quality.
