Made from Hypoallergenic, BPA & Phthalates free material.

It holds the ball still. Sitting down on and standing up from an exercise ball is the least secure moment, particularly in late pregnancy, and the ring stops the ball rolling out from under you or drifting across a hard floor. It also lets you leave the ball out as a seat in a room without it wandering.
It fits our 65cm and 75cm birthing balls, and works with most standard exercise balls of a similar size. It sits underneath the ball rather than attaching to it, so there is nothing to fix or inflate. If you have a ball from another brand, check the diameter is in that range.
Less than on a hard floor, since carpet already provides some resistance, but many people still find it useful for the sitting down and standing up moments. On laminate, tile or wood it makes a much bigger difference, and on those surfaces most people consider it necessary rather than optional.
Yes. It is just as useful when you are bouncing a baby to sleep on the ball, which is when you least want to be concentrating on balance, and later if the ball becomes an exercise or desk seat. It has a longer useful life than most pregnancy accessories.
No. It sits under the ball and is ready to use straight away, with nothing to inflate, screw together or adjust. Position it where you want the ball to stay, place the ball in it, and that is the whole setup. It fits our 65cm and 75cm balls and most standard exercise balls of a similar diameter.

    Great ball - will use for many years to come

    It's one of the best on the market and I'm using it more than i thought I would - it'll definitely become a staple for exercise post birth. Only downside is the lovely sage colour I'd hoped for is not at as depicted online - it's grey/silver and had I known that I would have ordered a different colour. Disappointed about that.

    Life this birthing ball. I used it for the weeks leading up to giving birth and during labor. The sizing was accurate and it was easy to inflate.
