The incline brings your baby up to a more upright position, which supports a settled feed and takes the strain off your arms, neck and shoulders. It is equally useful after a C-section, where it keeps your baby's weight off the scar during feeds.
Yes. The outer cover is 100% organic cotton and comes off via the QikZip™ zip, so it can go in the wash whenever it needs to, which with feeding is often. Wash it at a low temperature and avoid the tumble dryer. We also sell spare covers separately, which is the practical answer to the fact that feeding accidents rarely wait for the wash to finish.
No, and this matters. Nursing pillows are for supervised feeding and supported sitting only. A baby should never be left to sleep on or against a nursing pillow, because the incline and the soft sides present a real suffocation risk if they slump or roll. Move your baby to a flat, firm sleep surface as soon as the feed is over, even if they have dropped off.
It wraps around your waist rather than balancing on your lap, which is what keeps it stable through a feed and lets you use both hands. The 100% organic cotton outer has a natural grip to it, so it stays where you put it. If you are feeding on a leather sofa or in silky pyjamas, take a second to settle it before latching, as you would with any feeding position.

    Comfortable for bottle feeds too: made a real difference

    I was unsure whether we really needed it, but it has proved its worth. The shape gives comfortable support and the cover feels soft. The pattern looks just as nice as it did online. Definitely one I would recommend to other parents.

    Improved once fitted correctly. Soft and easy to wash

    Needed something uncomplicated and this has done the job. The fit needed a little adjusting at first, but it is comfortable now. The fabric feels soft against baby's skin and the print is lovely in person.
