It is a previous version of our postpartum recovery belt, offered at a reduced price while remaining stock lasts. It does the same job of supporting the abdominal muscles after birth. The main practical difference is the sizing, which runs S, M and L here rather than the One Size and XL of the current belt.
Sizes run S, M and L on this version. Order for your immediate postpartum body rather than your pre-pregnancy size, and size up if you are between two. Compression that is too tight on a healing abdomen simply will not get worn, and there is nothing gained by squeezing into a smaller size.
Within the first few days after a straightforward vaginal birth, and after your wound has healed following a C-section, usually around the six week check. If anything pulls at a scar, feels sharp or causes numbness, stop and speak to your midwife or GP before continuing.
It does the same job. The current Comfort+ belt is the version we make now, and our Support+ belt is the firmer option if you want stronger compression. This one is worth considering if the size range suits you and you would rather pay less for the same function.
Yes, it is designed to sit flat under everyday clothing. Position it low and flat across the abdomen with even tension on both sides, which is also what stops any support belt rolling. Wearing it over a thin layer rather than directly against skin is more comfortable for most people over a long day.
