Material

Made from Hypoallergenic, BPA & Phthalates free material.

Available in 65cm and 75cm. Models use size 65cm.

The birthing ball plus the accessories that make it more usable, including the stability ring that stops the ball rolling away when you are getting on and off it. For most people the ring is the piece that turns the ball from something used occasionally into something used daily, particularly in late pregnancy when balance is not what it was.
Not strictly, but it is the accessory people most often come back for. It holds the ball still when you sit down and stand up, which is the moment that feels least secure in late pregnancy, and it lets you use the ball on hard floors without chasing it. It also means you can leave the ball out as a seat without it rolling around.
By height, as with the standard ball. 65cm suits most people up to around 5ft 8in, and 75cm above that. Sitting on it, your hips should sit slightly higher than your knees with feet flat on the floor. Underinflation is the most common reason a ball feels too small, so check inflation before assuming you have the wrong size.
If you intend to use the ball regularly rather than occasionally, yes, because the accessories are cheaper bundled than bought separately afterwards. If you are unsure whether you will get on with a birthing ball at all, the standard ball is the lower-commitment starting point and you can add pieces later.
Allow a little time rather than rushing it. Let everything reach room temperature first, which makes the material far more flexible, inflate in stages and leave it overnight before topping up the next day. Done this way you get a properly firm, well-shaped ball. The electric pump option takes the physical effort out of it entirely.

The textured surface offers good grip, and users find it sturdy and durable. Many appreciate the included exercise booklet with helpful guidance. Common feedback notes the hand pump requires significant effort to inflate, though the ball holds air reliably once inflated. Users report it eases back and hip discomfort during pregnancy. Great ball - will use for many years to come

It's one of the best on the market and I'm using it more than i thought I would - it'll definitely become a staple for exercise post birth. Only downside is the lovely sage colour I'd hoped for is not at as depicted online - it's grey/silver and had I known that I would have ordered a different colour. Disappointed about that.

    Solid birthing ball

Life this birthing ball. I used it for the weeks leading up to giving birth and during labor. The sizing was accurate and it was easy to inflate.
