One QikZip™ zip sleepsuit and one baby sleeping bag, chosen to work together for bedtime. You select the sleepsuit size, the sleeping bag size and the sleeping bag TOG separately at checkout, so the pairing suits your baby and your nursery rather than being fixed. Both use the same 95% organic bamboo outer, so the sleepsuit layers under the bag without adding bulk at the shoulders.
Because they are designed as a single sleep setup and the bundle costs less than buying both individually. The sleepsuit is the layer next to the skin and the bag is the layer that replaces blankets, and getting both right at once removes the guesswork of matching a sleepsuit weight to a TOG rating. It also makes a straightforward new baby gift, since it covers the whole bedtime routine in one box.
They use different size bands, which catches people out. Sleepsuits run Newborn through 12-18m by height, while sleeping bags run 0-9M, 9-18M and 18-36M. Choose the sleepsuit by your baby's height and the bag by the fit at the neck and arms, which must be snug so your baby cannot slip down inside. It is normal for the two numbers not to look like they match.
Base it on your nursery temperature. 2.5 TOG suits the 16 to 20°C the NHS recommends and is the most popular choice year round in UK homes. Choose 1.0 TOG if your room sits between 20 and 24°C, or 0.5 TOG above that. If you are buying as a gift and cannot check the room, 2.5 TOG is the safest general choice for a UK bedroom.
It is one of our most bought gift sets, because it covers a complete bedtime rather than being another outfit. If you are buying ahead, choose a size above Newborn, since most new parents are given plenty of newborn clothing and very little in 3-6m. The recipient can exchange for a different size within 30 days provided everything is unwashed with tags attached.

    The two-way zip is particularly useful during sleepy nappy changes. The colour is slightly softer than it looked on screen, which I actually prefer. The fit allows plenty of movement without looking baggy.

    Useful with a few caveats. Soft with room to wriggle

    The colour is not quite what I pictured from the photos, although the fabric feels lovely. The two-way zip is particularly useful during sleepy nappy changes. It has been washed repeatedly and still looks smart.
