The day your baby works out how to open a kitchen cupboard, the cleaning products, the pan drawer and the oven door all become things to worry about. This kit covers the usual ones in one go: magnetic locks for cupboards and drawers, an oven lock, straps for the fridge, bin and toilet lid, corner protectors for sharp edges and door stops that keep doors from shutting on fingers.
The magnetic locks fit inside the cupboard, so there's nothing to see from the outside. Hold the magnetic key against the door and the lock lets go; when you don't need them, once the children are in bed for example, you can switch them off so the doors open as normal.
Everything fits with 3M™ adhesive, so there's no drilling and no holes to fill when you take it down, which makes it a good choice if you rent. Placement stickers help you get each lock in the right spot first time, and there are screws in the box if you'd rather fix the busiest cupboards permanently.

Questions, answered.
Is one kit enough for a whole house?
For most homes, yes, although a big kitchen can use most of the cupboard locks on its own. It doesn't include a stair gate or window restrictors, which you'll want as well if you have stairs or live above the ground floor.
Will the adhesive hold?
Yes, on a clean, dry, smooth surface. Wipe each spot first, press the piece on firmly and leave it for 24 hours before you test it, because the adhesive needs time to bond. On cupboards that are opened all day, you can add the screws as well.
How do the magnetic locks open?
Hold the key flat against the outside of the door, over the lock, and the catch releases. Put one of the little stickers on the outside of each door so you know exactly where to hold it; after a few goes it's second nature.
Will the locks work on my drawers?
Usually, but check the drawers first. The lock and catch need something solid to fix to, so on a stack of drawers with no shelf or rail between them, you may only be able to lock the top and bottom ones.
What can I use the safety straps on?
They adjust to fit fridge and freezer doors, bins, toilet lids and appliances: anything with a door or lid that the cupboard locks can't reach.
