Maternity knickers that come up and over your bump
Once the bump is properly showing, knickers that sit underneath it tend to roll down every time you sit or bend. These have a high front that covers the bump and stays put, and it stretches as you grow rather than pressing on it.

What size should I order?
Use the size guide with your usual dress size from before pregnancy: S is 6 to 10, M 10 to 14, L 14 to 18 and XL 18 to 22. They come up small, so if your size falls in two, take the bigger one; the front panel stretches as the bump grows, so you don't need extra room for it. Knickers can't be returned once they're opened, for hygiene reasons, so it's worth a minute with the guide first.
Where does the waistband sit?
Over your bump, not under it. Pull the front right up when you put them on, as that's where it's made to sit, and it stays there rather than rolling down as you move.
Should I choose over-bump or under-bump?
Over-bump suits later pregnancy and cooler weather, as it covers the bump, stays put and keeps it warm. Under-bump sits lower and is cooler, which many people prefer earlier on and in summer, and plenty of people have both and switch as the bump grows.
Can I sleep in them?
Yes. There's nothing hard in them, no tags or bulky seams, and the front is soft rather than tight, so they're comfortable lying on your side.
Can I wear them after the birth?
