BABYGO® Magnetic Child Safety Locks
Hidden magnetic cupboard locks, fitted without a drill
Once your baby can crawl, the cupboard under the sink becomes the most interesting place in the house. These locks fit inside your cupboards and drawers, so from the outside nothing looks different, and the door only opens when you hold the magnetic key against it, over the lock.
They stick on with 3M™ adhesive pads that come ready fitted, so there's no drilling. The installation tool holds each lock and catch in line while you fit them, and the adhesive needs 24 hours to set before you test it. There are screws in the box too, if you'd rather fix them for good.
When there are no children about, switch the locks off and the cupboards open as normal, which grandparents tend to like.

Questions, answered.
Will they fit my cupboards?
They need two flat, smooth surfaces: the inside of the door or drawer front, and the frame or shelf it closes against. That covers most kitchen cupboards and drawers, but panelled or shaped doors may not give the lock a flat enough spot, so check yours before you fit them.
My lock isn't catching. What have I done wrong?
Almost always, it's the alignment: the lock and the catch have to meet within a few millimetres. Use the installation tool to position them, close the door to test the fit before you press the adhesive home, then leave it 24 hours. If a door opens as though there's no lock at all, this is the cause.
How many will I need?
Most kitchens need between six and ten, once you count the cupboard under the sink, the cleaning cupboard, the bin drawer and any low cupboard with glass or heavy pans in it. You don't have to lock everything. Leaving one low cupboard of plastic bowls and wooden spoons for your toddler to explore takes the pressure off the rest.
Can I switch them off?
Yes. Each lock switches off, so the cupboard opens normally without taking anything down, and back on when the children are around. It's handy at a grandparent's house, or once your children are older.
What if I lose a key?
There are two in the box, and we sell replacement keys in pairs. Each one mounts to the wall with 3M™ adhesive, so the easiest way never to be without one is to keep a key high up in every room where you've fitted locks.
