Can I send a BABYGO gift card instead?
Yes. Gift cards are available from £25 to £150 and are delivered by email, so they work right up to Christmas Eve when parcels no longer can. They can be spent on anything on babygo.uk and are a safe choice for a friend who is pregnant but has not shared sizes. Gift cards themselves cannot be refunded once bought, so choose the value carefully.
Which sleepsuit size for a baby due in spring?
Buy 0-3m rather than Newborn. A baby born in March or April spends only the first few weeks in Newborn, so 0-3m gives far more wear, and our two-way zip sleepsuits fold over at the hands and feet so a slightly large size is still practical. Our sizes are set by height rather than age, and the size guide on each product page shows the band for each label. If the due date is later in spring, 3-6m for the summer is a thoughtful second gift.
Can the recipient exchange a gift for another size?
Yes, where the Returns page allows it. Exchanges are handled through our returns form within 30 days of the order date, so a gift bought in early December still has time on the other side of Christmas, and the person returning it only needs the order number from the packing slip. The item must be unworn with tags attached, and our Returns page currently excludes some sale and discontinued stock, so check the product page. Underwear and socks cannot be exchanged, so for those a gift card is safer.
What is a good Christmas gift for a pregnant friend?
The three things pregnant women buy for themselves and rarely regret are a birthing ball, a pregnancy support belt and a proper pregnancy pillow. Of those, the pillow is the safest gift because it is one size, and the birthing ball is the most talked about. If she is in the third trimester, a postpartum bundle is more useful than anything else, because nobody else will buy it for her.
Are Christmas sale prints coming back next year?
Usually not. Festive sleepsuits and pyjamas are printed in one run, so once a size sells through in December it is gone. If you want matching family sizes, order them in the same basket rather than waiting. Our plain and everyday prints are restocked year round, so a festive print for photos plus everyday sleepsuits for actual wear is the combination that works best.
