Nursing bras, nursing pillows and breast pumps

This is our feeding range, for however you're feeding your baby: at the breast, with a pump or from a bottle. It covers wire-free nursing bras, nursing pillows and spare covers, the Air™ wearable breast pump with its replacement parts, and bags for storing expressed milk.

For everyday feeding, the Maternity Bra has a clip on each strap that drops the cup with one hand, and the Nursing Sleep Bra has a crossover front with nothing to undo at night. The Support+ Maternity Bra is firmer, for a fuller bust, and goes up to XXXL. If you pump a lot, the Pumping Bra holds the flanges so your hands are free.

A nursing pillow goes round your waist and lifts your baby to breast height, so the pillow takes their weight rather than your arms, and it works for bottle feeds too. Spare covers zip off for the wash, in quick-drying polyester or printed organic cotton.

The Air™ pump sits inside your bra with no tubes or wires, and the double does both sides at once.

Questions, answered.

Which nursing bra should I choose?

Start with how much support you want. The Maternity Bra and Nursing Sleep Bra are soft and wire-free, the Support+ Maternity Bra is firmer for a fuller bust, and the Nursing Sports Bra is for running and high-impact exercise. If you pump several times a day, the Pumping Bra holds the flanges for you.

What size nursing bra should I order?

Use the size guide on each bra to match your band and cup size to ours, and measure now rather than going by an old bra. If you're between two sizes in the Maternity Bra, take the smaller one, because its knit stretches when your milk comes in; the sleep bra, the Support+ and the Pumping Bra fit closer, so take the larger. Unused bras with the tags on can be exchanged within 30 days.

Do I need a nursing pillow if I'm bottle feeding?

It helps either way, because it raises your baby for a bottle and takes the weight off your arms. It's for feeding and supervised play only, never for sleep.

How long can I store expressed breast milk?

The NHS says up to 8 days at the back of the fridge at 4°C or lower, or 3 days if your fridge runs warmer or you're not sure. It keeps for 2 weeks in the ice compartment of a fridge and up to 6 months in a freezer at -18°C or lower, and once it's defrosted, don't refreeze it.

Is a wearable pump as good as a traditional one?

For most people expressing at home or at work, yes. The Air™ has suction up to 300 mmHg with three modes and nine levels; the difference is that you can't see the seal once it's in your bra, so the flange size matters more. Check your size before you order, because breast pumps can't be returned for hygiene reasons.
