What is included in the set?

A coordinated set of our seamless maternity bras, so you have several of the same cut in rotation rather than one you like and others you put up with. Sizes run S to XL. Buying as a set brings the price per bra down and means every one opens the same way, which matters when you are doing it one-handed in the dark.

How many nursing bras do I actually need?

Three is the practical minimum if you are breastfeeding: one on, one in the wash, one clean in the drawer. Leaking in the early weeks means changing more often than you would otherwise. Many people add a separate sleep bra on top of that, since a day bra and a night bra are genuinely different requirements.

What level of support does it give?

Soft and light rather than structured. Wire-free, hook-free and tag-free is what makes these comfortable through pregnancy, nursing and recovery, but it means they will not lift the way an underwired bra does. For firmer support look at our Support+ maternity bra, which goes up to XXXL, or the nursing sports bra for exercise.

What size should I order?

Your current size when ordering, not a predicted one. The four-way stretch absorbs a good deal of change without needing a new size at every stage. If you are between sizes, take the smaller, since some customers find the fit generous. Buying a large quantity at 38 weeks can backfire because your size changes again when milk comes in.

Can I wear these after breast surgery?

Many people do. Nothing rigid presses on sensitive tissue, because there are no wires, hooks, tags or seams, which is usually the problem with conventional bras after surgery. Check with your surgeon or medical team about timing before wearing anything against a healing area. The same seamless construction is why many people keep wearing these long after they have stopped nursing.
