Materials

Made from ABS and PP plastic

Count the corners at your child's head height rather than counting furniture. A coffee table, a hearth, a TV unit and a low windowsill is already sixteen corners. Our packs come in 12 and 24, and most families find the 24 pack covers a living room and one other room comfortably. The corners that matter most are the ones at the height of a child who is learning to walk and falling regularly.
The clear design is intended to blend in rather than announce itself, so they are visible up close but do not change the look of a room from across it. They soften the impact of a sharp edge rather than making it disappear entirely. On dark wood they are less noticeable than on pale surfaces, where the outline of the adhesive can catch the light.
The 3M™ adhesive is designed to come away without lasting damage, which is the point of using it rather than a permanent fixing. On older or waxed wood finishes it is always worth testing one in an inconspicuous spot first and leaving it a few days, since aged finishes behave less predictably than modern sealed ones. Remove slowly rather than pulling sharply.
Longer than most people expect. Corner protectors stay useful well past the crawling stage, because toddlers and young children continue to run into furniture at speed for years. Many families leave them until around three or four. They are also the cheapest piece of baby proofing to leave in place, so there is little reason to remove them early.
Pressed onto a clean, dry surface and given 24 hours to cure, they hold firmly. Picking at edges is the most common way any adhesive fixing fails, so press the whole surface down rather than just the middle when fitting. Check them periodically, and refit any that have started to lift before they come away entirely.

    Less bulky than expected, pleased after a few weeks

    I have used it enough now to give it a fair review. Lining it up took two attempts; it has been secure since. The shape fitted our coffee table corners neatly and the cushioning feels substantial. I noticed them far less than expected once fitted.
