QikZip™ is our two-way zip, which opens from the top or from the bottom. At 3am that means unzipping from the ankle, changing a nappy and zipping straight back up without undressing your baby or waking them properly. A one-way zip makes you peel the whole suit down from the shoulders, and poppers mean lining up ten fasteners in the dark and usually getting them wrong. It is the feature parents notice within the first night.
Go by height rather than age. Newborn covers 45 to 55cm, 0-3m covers 53 to 63cm, and the bands continue to 18-24m at 78 to 86cm. Our sleepsuits are true to size and cut to fit up to two months longer than standard, so most babies get more wear from a size than expected. If your baby falls between two bands, size down. Too large and the suit bunches at the feet and the fold-over mitts sit in the wrong place.
The fold-over mitts are designed for babies up to around 12 months, though most parents stop once their baby is no longer scratching their own face. The fold-over feet act as built-in socks and stay useful for longer, particularly for pram trips and cooler rooms. Both fold back out of the way when you do not want them, so nothing is lost if you never use the mitts at all.
Bamboo is softer against new skin, more breathable, and naturally thermo-regulating, so it helps keep your baby warm on a cold night and cool on a warm one rather than simply adding a layer. It is also naturally hypoallergenic, which matters for newborn skin and for babies prone to eczema. Ours is 95% organic bamboo with 5% elastane, and that elastane is what gives the stretch that makes dressing a wriggling baby possible at all.
Yes. Our smallest size is Tinybaby, which fits up to 45cm and suits premature and very small babies, with Newborn covering 45 to 55cm above it. The two-way zip matters more than usual at this stage, because you can change a nappy without fully undressing a baby who hates being cold, and there are no poppers to line up one-handed in the dark. The 95% bamboo blend is soft against newborn skin.

    No awkward poppers at 3am (one of our better buys)

    The zip makes night-time changes much quicker and the guard keeps it away from the chin. Five stars from me. After 7 weeks, I am still pleased with it.

    The two-way zip is particularly useful during sleepy nappy changes. The colour is slightly softer than it looked on screen, which I actually prefer. The fit allows plenty of movement without looking baggy.

    Useful with a few caveats. Soft with room to wriggle

    The colour is not quite what I pictured from the photos, although the fabric feels lovely. The two-way zip is particularly useful during sleepy nappy changes. It has been washed repeatedly and still looks smart.
