What should I buy for a baby due in summer?
Lightweight sleepwear: 0.5 TOG sleeping bags for rooms over 24 degrees and 1.0 TOG for warm nights around 20 to 24, plus short-sleeved bamboo bodysuits that can be worn alone on hot days. Bamboo is more breathable than cotton and wicks moisture, which is why our sleepsuits suit summer babies. For yourself, seamless bras and leggings in lighter colours are the items most summer mums buy.
What is included in the summer sale?
Spring prints and lighter TOG sleeping bags that we are rotating for autumn stock, plus selected maternity leggings, nursing bras and support belts in colours being refreshed. It is the same product and quality as full price, with the same size guide and care instructions. New autumn prints usually arrive in September, so summer sale sizes are not restocked once they sell through, and the popular 0-3m and 3-6m sizes go first.
Is summer sale delivery any slower?
No. Dispatch is within one working day and standard delivery takes 2 to 3 working days, free on orders over £40 and £3.99 below that. Premium Next Day is £7.99 on any order value. The only thing to allow for is the August bank holiday, when orders placed over the weekend go out on the Tuesday, so choose next day on the Friday before if you need something for that week.
Can I exchange a summer sale item for another size?
Where the Returns page allows it, yes: exchanges go through the returns form within 30 days of the order date and the item must be unworn and unwashed with tags on. Our Returns page currently excludes some sale and discontinued stock, so check the product page before you rely on it. Swimwear, knickers, socks, peri bottles and breast pumps cannot be returned once opened, and without Returns+ a £4.99 label fee is deducted from any refund.
Can I stack a summer sale price with a discount code?
One code per order, and it does not combine with automatic multi-buy offers. Whether a code applies to a reduced item depends on the offer, so add it at checkout and check the total before paying. New customers who sign up to our emails receive a 10% welcome code, which is worth testing against the sale price on single items.
