Instructions

Seated Start
Begin in a seated ball position with your hands resting on your tummy.

Roll Forward & Back
Let the ball roll you gently forward and back beneath you.

Move Abdomen
Push your abdomen in and out slowly, working in the opposite direction to the ball.

Breathe with Motion
Exhale as you draw your abs in and your fingertips together, inhale as your hands separate.

Continue Gently
Repeat the motion as many times as feels comfortable, stopping when you start to tire.
Tip
Sync the movement to your breath — this is as much a calming technique as a mobility one, and is brilliant for early labour surges.
