Helps With
A gentle upper body strengthening exercise that helps build arm, chest and shoulder strength from a stable kneeling position — perfect for those who find a standing push up tricky as their bump grows.
Instructions
-
1
Kneel at Wall
Kneel facing a wall with the ball held against the wall at chest height.
-
2
Hand Position
Place your hands on the ball slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
-
3
Lower Chest
Bend your elbows and lean your chest gently toward the ball, keeping your body in a straight line.
-
4
Press Back
Press back to the starting position with control.
-
5
Repeat
Keep your core engaged and repeat 10 times or as feels comfortable.
Tip
A great alternative to a standing wall push up when balance gets tricky — the kneeling base keeps everything stable while you build upper body strength.
