Stand with the ball on the floor in front of you, feet hip-width apart.

Hinge from your hips and lower your chest forward to rest on top of the ball.

Let your arms drape across the ball or rest your forehead on your hands.

Soften & Breathe
Soften through your shoulders and let the ball take your upper body weight.

Hold or Sway
Hold the position or gently sway your hips, breathing deeply throughout.
Tip
One of the best positions for early labour — the forward lean takes pressure off your lower back and encourages baby into an anterior position.
