At a glance

  • Eases aching back and hips

Sitting upright takes the pressure off. Slow bouncing keeps you moving through to labour.

  • Anti-burst 2mm wall

If it is ever punctured, it goes down slowly instead of bursting under you.

  • Load tested to 1000kg

Material tested to EN 71-3, hypoallergenic and free from BPA and phthalates.

  • 100 page Pregnancy Book

More than 40 ball exercises, then labour and after. Pump and tape measure included.

Reliable, safe & 5x stronger than a gym ball

When your back aches by mid-afternoon and your hips or pelvis complain every time you sit on the sofa, a birthing ball gives you somewhere better to sit. Sitting upright takes the pressure off, and slow bouncing and hip circles keep you moving right through to labour.

It's made to a different standard from a gym ball. The wall is 2mm thick, the ball is tested to hold up to 1000kg, and it's anti-burst, so if it's ever punctured it goes down slowly instead of bursting under you.

Every ball comes with our 100-page BABYGO® Pregnancy Book. It works through each trimester with more than 40 exercises for the ball, then labour and the weeks after, so you know what to do with it rather than just sitting on it.

After the birth, it's good for bouncing a baby to sleep.

Size guide

Your height Ball size
4ft 11 to 5ft 8 (150 to 173cm) 65cm
5ft 8 to 5ft 10 (173 to 178cm) 65cm or 75cm
5ft 10 and over (178cm+) 75cm

In the overlap, the 65cm sits lower and bounces more; the 75cm suits long legs or desk use. Once inflated, your hips should sit a touch higher than your knees with your feet flat.

If you're not sure, put your height into the size calculator.

Customers say this birthing ball maintains its pressure well during daily use and provides comfortable support for hip circles and gentle movement. The textured surface offers good grip, and users find it sturdy and durable. Many appreciate the included exercise booklet with helpful guidance. Common feedback notes the hand pump requires significant effort to inflate, though the ball holds air reliably once inflated. Users report it eases back and hip discomfort during pregnancy. Some mention missing or damaged pumps upon arrival. Overall, customers value its quality construction, comfortable height, and versatility for pregnancy, labor, and postpartum use.

Excellent - for me, stability ring was also a must

I have a brain injury and some balance issues. With use alongside the stability ring, the birthing ball has proven an amazing tool for use throughout pregnancy, and now postpartum. It very muche helped to ease aches and pains through pregnancy, especially hip and pelvic pain. It provided a super safe and gentle way to exercise, even while fiddling around on my phone. Postpartum, it helps me to gently bounce my baby to sleep! Even for those who don't have issues with balance, I highly recommend the stability ring. Don't want any falls, especially when pregnant or holding baby!

Great ball - will use for many years to come

It's one of the best on the market and I'm using it more than i thought I would - it'll definitely become a staple for exercise post birth. Only downside is the lovely sage colour I'd hoped for is not at as depicted online - it's grey/silver and had I known that I would have ordered a different colour. Disappointed about that.
