Replacement Flange

A replacement flange for the BABYGO® Electric Breast Pump, made from BPA-free, food-grade material.

A well-fitting flange helps you pump comfortably and express efficiently. Pairs with our flange inserts (17mm, 19mm, 21mm) for a custom fit.

Measure your nipple diameter in millimetres, not including the areola, and choose the flange closest to that measurement plus two to three millimetres. Too large and you draw areola tissue into the tunnel, which reduces output and causes soreness. Too small and it rubs. Flange size is the single most common reason a pump appears to underperform.
Either because the size supplied is not right for you, which is very common, or because the original has been damaged or lost. Flanges are also worth replacing if they have become scratched or cloudy, since a damaged surface is harder to clean properly and less comfortable against skin.
It is made for the BABYGO® Air™ Electric Breast Pump, both the single and double versions. If you are using another brand's pump, check the connection diameter before ordering, since fittings are not standardised across manufacturers. Getting the size right matters more than the brand, so measure your nipple diameter and add two to three millimetres.
Wash in hot soapy water after each use, rinse thoroughly and air dry completely before the next session. Sterilise once a day rather than after every session for a healthy full-term baby. Do not scrub the inside with anything abrasive, since scratches trap milk residue and are difficult to clean out.
When it becomes cloudy, scratched or loses its shape, which for regular pumping is typically every few months. A flange that has warped will not hold a proper seal, and a poor seal shows up as reduced output that people usually blame on supply rather than on equipment.
