How are the bamboo leggings different from the Activ+ ones?

These use a bamboo-based fabric, which is softer and more breathable against the skin and better suited to everyday wear, lounging and warm weather. Our Activ+ leggings use a nylon and polyester blend built for exercise, with more compression and a more sculpted fit. Choose bamboo for comfort and Activ+ for the gym.

What size should I order?

Order your usual size, and take the next size up if you are between two or carry weight on your thighs, since the leg is the closer-fitting part rather than the waist. Sizes run S to XXL, as a single or twin pack. The over-bump panel stretches as you grow, so there is no need to size up in advance simply to allow for the bump.

Are they opaque enough to wear out?

Yes for everyday wear. If you specifically want squat-proof performance for exercise, our Activ+ leggings are the denser fabric and the better choice. Bamboo has a softer handle, which is what makes it comfortable for all-day wear but means it is the gentler of the two rather than the more technical.

Where does the waistband sit?

Over the bump, with a gentle panel that stretches as you grow rather than digging in underneath. That keeps them in place through the day without needing adjusting. If you prefer a waistband below the bump, our under-bump styles are the alternative, and many people use over-bump later in pregnancy and under-bump earlier.

Are they suitable for hot weather?

Yes, that is the bamboo doing its job. The fibres are breathable and naturally temperature regulating, moving moisture away from the skin instead of trapping heat, which makes these the pair most people reach for in summer and for the warm months of pregnancy when overheating is constant. In cooler weather they layer under dresses and long tops, so they earn their place year round.

Soft stretch without going sheer; useful despite the delivery delay
It arrived later than planned and the colour is slightly different online, though it is comfortable to wear. They are comfortable enough for home but smart enough to wear out. I wear them several times a week.

Losing their
They have washed well without losing their shape. The waistband sits nicely and does not roll down during the day. It feels like good value for money.
