Questions, answered.

Will prices drop further in the January sale?

We do not plan the two events as steps, so there is no guarantee a Boxing Day price will be lower in January. What does change is stock: popular sizes sell through in the first days, so waiting usually means fewer options rather than a better price. If the item and size you want are reduced now, order now.

Can I return something I bought in the Boxing Day sale?

Check the product page first: sale lines follow the terms on our Returns page, which currently excludes some sale and discontinued stock. Where a return is accepted, you have 30 days from the order date, the item must be unworn and unwashed with its tags, and refunds reach your original payment method within 3 to 5 working days of the parcel arriving. Without Returns+ a £4.99 label fee is deducted. Underwear, socks and breast pumps are excluded once opened.

How quickly will a Boxing Day order arrive?

Orders placed over the bank holiday are normally dispatched on the next working day. Standard delivery takes 2 to 3 working days from dispatch and is free over £40; Premium Next Day is £7.99 and goes out on the first working day after you order. Carriers run reduced services between Christmas and New Year, so allow an extra day in that week if you need something for a fixed date.

Is it worth stocking up on the next size?

Yes, for sleepwear. Babies grow through a size every two to three months in the first year, so a sale is a sensible time to buy the next one or two sizes up in sleepsuits and bodysuits. Sleeping bags are the exception: buy the size and TOG you need now rather than guessing, because the neck fit matters for safety and the room temperature changes by the season.

What sells out first?

Everyday essentials in the most common sizes: nursing bras in the middle sizes, postpartum knickers multipacks and 0-3m sleepsuits tend to go early. If any of those are on your list, put them in the basket first. Birthing balls, support belts and pregnancy pillows are one-size or few-size items and usually stay available for most of the event.
