Will it hold everything in place if I sleep on my side?

It is designed to be soft and unrestrictive overnight, holding a breast pad in place without the firm band or structured cup of a day bra, because anything tight worn for twelve hours can contribute to blocked ducts. That softness is the point of a sleep bra. If you have a fuller bust and want more shape and containment at night, our Support+ maternity bra gives firmer support while staying wire-free.

What is a sleep bra actually for?

Holding a breast pad in place overnight and giving light comfort, rather than support. In the early weeks of nursing, leaking overnight is common and waking in a wet bed is not, so the job is to keep a pad where you put it. It is deliberately soft, because anything tight worn for twelve hours can contribute to blocked ducts.

Can I use it for feeding at night?

Yes, it is designed for it. The point of a nursing sleep bra over an ordinary crop top is that you can feed without taking it off, in the dark, half asleep, with one hand. That is a meaningful difference at 3am, and it is why most people find a dedicated sleep bra worth having alongside their day bras.

What size should I order?

Your current size. Sizes run S to XL in the same seamless Tencel™ modal as our other bras, in packs of 1, 2, 3 or 5. Because a sleep bra should be comfortable rather than firm, if you are between sizes take the larger one, which is the opposite of our advice for the day bras.

How many will I need?

Two at minimum if you are nursing, because a leak overnight means it needs changing the next day too. Many people buy a multipack for exactly this reason. They wash and dry quickly, but not quickly enough to rely on a single one when you are wearing it every night for months.

XL at 38F-G runs small
I'm at the limit of what the XL bra can fit, measuring in at a 38F or G depending on the style. It's unfortunately not a very comfortable fit, which is disappointing given that it lists up to 38G and the standard (not sleep) BabyGo nursing bras fit so well.
Giving 4* as it's still a well-made product.

No wires and no digging, well worth having
It is comfortable enough to sleep in while still giving useful support. I have worn it through long days without needing to readjust it. It has made everyday life that bit easier.

The shade is a little different from the website photos
The shade is a little different from the website photos, but still lovely. It gives a comfortable shape without stiff padding or wires. It has washed well on a gentle cycle.
