Yes. The seamless Tencel™ modal is soft enough to sit over a dressing without rubbing, and the light compression is gentle rather than gripping. That is exactly the stage they are designed for, which is why several pairs in a hospital bag is worth doing even if you are hoping for a vaginal birth, since around one in four UK births is a caesarean.
No. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns or exchanges on knickers, even unworn with tags and stickers attached, so it is worth checking the size guide before ordering rather than buying two sizes to try. If they arrive faulty, damaged or are not what you ordered, that is different: contact us before sending anything back and we will put it right.
One size up from your usual size, and up again if you are unsure. These need enough height and width to sit clear of a scar, and anything snug will roll down onto exactly the spot you are protecting. Sizes run S to XL. Ordering for the body you will have immediately after birth, not before pregnancy, is the key thing.
Most people wear them constantly for the first six weeks and then keep reaching for them for months afterwards, because scar sensitivity lasts longer than the visible healing does.     Too small

    I’ve had to take off 2 stars as they run very small. I’m normally a medium but ordered a large. They’re still too small and the seams land on my C-section scar. I’d recommend going up 2 sizes.

    Aside from the bad fitting the product is great, it holds the area well and makes me feel more secure. The material is nice and soft making it very comfortable.

    Will definitely order more but in a larger size

    Made a real difference: kept their stretch after washing

    I was unsure whether we really needed it, but it has proved its worth. The waistband stretches over my bump without rolling or digging in. They have kept their shape after repeated washing. It has made everyday life that bit easier.

    Nearly perfect

    Needed something uncomplicated and this has done the job. The cut gives good coverage while still feeling light. The shade is a little different from the website photos, but still lovely.
