Material

Made from Hypoallergenic, BPA & Phthalates free material.

Available in 65cm and 75cm. Models use size 65cm.

Go by your height. The 65cm ball suits most people up to around 5ft 8in, and the 75cm suits you if you are taller than that. The test once inflated is that when you sit on it, your hips should be very slightly higher than your knees and your feet flat on the floor. If your knees end up higher than your hips, the ball is too small for you or underinflated.
You are almost certainly doing it right. Inflating a birthing ball properly takes longer than people expect and is the thing customers ask about most. Let the ball reach room temperature first, which makes the material far more flexible, then inflate in stages. Leave it overnight and top it up the next day, because the material continues to relax. If you would rather skip the effort entirely, the electric pump option does it for you.
Yes, and it is built to a different standard from a standard gym ball. The wall is 2000 micrometres thick, tested to hold up to 1000kg, and it is anti-burst rated, meaning that if it is punctured it deflates slowly rather than bursting. It is also tested to EN71-3 European safety standards for chemical content, which matters for something you will have in the house with a new baby.
You can sit on it at any stage for comfort, and many people bring one in during the second trimester for lower back and hip relief. It comes into its own from around 32 weeks, when sitting upright and doing gentle hip circles helps encourage an optimal position for birth and eases pelvic pressure. Plenty of people carry on using it afterwards for bouncing a baby to sleep.
Everything you need to get started: the ball, a pump and our 100 page BABYGO® Pregnancy Book, which takes you through each trimester with exercises and birth positions rather than being a folded leaflet. You choose between the standard hand pump and the electric pump when ordering. The book is the part people are most surprised by, since it turns the ball from a piece of equipment into something you actually know how to use.

Pump: Standard
Customers say this birthing ball maintains its pressure well during daily use and provides comfortable support for hip circles and gentle movement. The textured surface offers good grip, and users find it sturdy and durable. Many appreciate the included exercise booklet with helpful guidance. Common feedback notes the hand pump requires significant effort to inflate, though the ball holds air reliably once inflated. Users report it eases back and hip discomfort during pregnancy. Some mention missing or damaged pumps upon arrival. Overall, customers value its quality construction, comfortable height, and versatility for pregnancy, labor, and postpartum use.

Great ball - will use for many years to come

It's one of the best on the market and I'm using it more than i thought I would - it'll definitely become a staple for exercise post birth. Only downside is the lovely sage colour I'd hoped for is not at as depicted online - it's grey/silver and had I known that I would have ordered a different colour. Disappointed about that.

    Solid birthing ball

Life this birthing ball. I used it for the weeks leading up to giving birth and during labor. The sizing was accurate and it was easy to inflate.
