Light, soft support for your tummy after the birth
In the first weeks after having a baby, your tummy can feel loose and unsupported, especially when you stand up, walk about or lift. This Comfort+ belt wraps round your middle and gives it a gentle, even hold, so getting about feels a bit more comfortable.
It fastens with Velcro, with two outer straps that cross over the front, so you can make it as loose or as firm as you like and change it as your body settles. The lining is soft bamboo, and it's fine under a loose top.
It comes with our BABYGO® Postpartum Book, more than 90 pages that take you through gentle exercises for your core and pelvic floor week by week, what to eat, and when and how long to wear the belt.

When can I start wearing it?
After a straightforward vaginal birth, whenever you feel ready, which for most people is within the first few days. After a C-section, let the wound heal first and check with your midwife or GP before you start; ideally wait until your six week check. Stop and ask for advice if it pulls at the incision, hurts or makes the area feel numb.
What size should I order?
One Size fits dress sizes 8 to 16 and XL fits 18 to 24. Order for your body now rather than your size before pregnancy, and if you're between the two, take the XL: a belt that's too small is the usual reason one rolls up or feels uncomfortable.
Will it roll up or move about?
Not if it's sitting right. Put it on low and flat across your tummy and fasten both sides with even tension. A belt that rolls is usually sitting too high or pulled tighter on one side, so move it lower and level it up.
Will it fix abdominal separation?
No. It can make moving about more comfortable while your muscles recover, but it won't close a gap on its own. That takes a gradual core programme, ideally guided by a pelvic health physiotherapist, so ask your GP or health visitor if you're worried.
How long should I wear it each day?
As much or as little as feels good. Many people wear it while they're up and about and take it off to rest. As you get stronger, wear it less, so you don't come to rely on it.
