Instructions

Lower Down
Place one hand on the ball and gently lower yourself to a seated position.

Sit Tall
Sit upright, drawing your shoulders back and avoiding any slouch or slump.

Open Hips
Open your knees nice and wide and point your feet forward.

Anchor Feet
Keep your feet planted with knees directly over ankles.

Check Alignment
Your knees should sit slightly lower than your hips for proper pelvic alignment.
Tip
This is the base position for nearly every other postnatal exercise — get this right and everything else falls into place.
